Private beta

Terms of Use

These terms apply while you test Crosspath. The service helps you plan trips and connect with travellers, but it does not replace your own travel, safety or booking decisions.

Effective 13 September 2026 · Private beta

1. About these terms

By creating an account or using Crosspath, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Crosspath is an early-stage private beta operated in the United Kingdom by Graeme Descoteaux, trading as Crosspath. Features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn during testing.

2. Who may use Crosspath

You must be at least 18, be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. Keep your login secure and do not share or transfer your account.

3. What Crosspath provides

Crosspath provides planning, discovery, matching, messaging, meetup and journal tools. It is not a travel agent, tour operator, booking provider, emergency service or identity-verification service.

Routes, recommendations, AI-generated content, dates, maps, images and information from travellers may be incomplete or wrong. Verify visas, entry rules, transport, accommodation, opening times, weather, health and safety information with authoritative sources before relying on them.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law.
  • Respect privacy, boundaries and consent; do not misuse another person's information.
  • Meet only where and when you feel safe. Use public venues, tell someone your plans and arrange your own transport.
  • Do not use Crosspath for scams, harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, commercial spam or sexual exploitation.
  • Do not interfere with, probe, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Crosspath a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service in line with your sharing settings.

You must have the right to upload your content. Do not post confidential information, unlawful material or images of people without appropriate permission. You can remove content using available controls or contact us where a control is unavailable.

6. Moderation and suspension

We may remove content, restrict features or suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect travellers, investigate a report, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Serious or immediate safety risks may be acted on without prior notice.

7. Availability and liability

The beta is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Crosspath is not responsible for independent travel bookings, third-party services, other travellers' conduct or losses caused by relying on unverified content.

If a problem occurs, stop using the affected feature and report it through Crosspath's beta feedback channel or email us.

8. Ending use and changes

You may stop using Crosspath at any time and request account deletion through support@crosspath.travel. Provisions that must logically continue, including content ownership, safety, liability and dispute terms, survive closure.

We may update these Terms as the beta changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date or an in-service notice.

9. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

Contact support@crosspath.travel with legal or account questions.
